The Christmas season is upon us

anticipation builds all year.

It is the eve of that fateful day

loved ones congregate to feast and cheer.

After all the commotion is done,

we go about our habitual business.

We have nothing to fill the emptiness

as we leave behind this spirit of Christmas.

Perhaps we should ponder the significance 

and allow these charitable feelings to grow.

We need not wait for twelve months to pass

to behold our compassion begin to flow.

If we do it right, the love of Christ and peaceful feeling of Christmas Day, lives in our hearts All Year Long. That is My Christmas Wish for you. ~ Janean
