In my case, I think I’m following the butterflies. Both monarchs and swallowtails blaze a trail, with their orange and yellow coloring, paired with sleek and fashionable basic black. Thanks for giving the jangle in my gut a name much more pleasant than indigestion. I shall now call it, “Butterhighs”. 🙂

Hope that doesn’t mean I’m predictable…just observant…and glad I didn’t disappoint. 🙂 I’ve had butterflies in my stomach lately. Not from love, but excitement and nerves. Similar feeling. Without the kisses.
No, not predictable at all.  Being observant is great.  You don’t miss a thing!  Butterflies in the stomach for any reason is one of life’s little joys.  Don’t let them get away!  🙂
etiquette question…because my mama raised me right
So, being new here and all, how does it work if you submit a piece for an anon challenge, following the rules and staying anonymous? Can you then, if you so choose, post the piece you submitted and put your name on it, or is that considered Bad Form, In Poor Taste, and Not The Point Of It At All? Yes, I’ve spent my life minding my manners and my P’s and Q’s, whatever they hell THAT means. Maybe etiquette is Out The Window here. Wow. That sort of blows my mind. In a good way. ~ Just Wondering Out Loud Because I’m Curious Like That
my morning routine
I read my Tumblr dashboard from the moment I awake. Let the rest of the world begin their day with the newspaper. I’d rather start my day with you. I end it here too. I’m Officially Hooked. Thanks to You Know Who. Not that I needed another internet addiction. I’ve simply traded once site, for another. The reality of Facebook for the fantasy of Tumblr, where life is shared in poetry and prose instead of breaking news status updates. Same difference. This is a pretty awesome hang out spot. Think I’ll stay awhile. ~ Janean

Take this kiss from me
for it is what I have to give.
Tuck it away, into your heart
and carry it with you always
for it is light and buoyant
to help lift your spirits
and help carry your burdens
that weigh you down so heavily.Let the lightness of my love
share the task to keep you moving

Amo Le Sue Ossa: Advice to Poets
I am by no means the most talented poet in the world, but I have had a few people ask me for advice about writing poetry. This is my advice; take from it what you will.
Read – Nothing is better for learning to write poetry than reading good poetry. Pick up a book of poems and fall into it. You…
love is similar
to the surf
of an ocean,
sometimes calm
and boring, sometimes
dangerousthe possibilitiesÂ
of drowning
are always therebut if you go
with the flow,
this thin line
of love will be towed.even if it pulls
me under, this
is where i choose
to be, in love
or dead at seaÂ
The only dream worth having is to dream that you will live while you are alive, and die only when you are dead. To love, to be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and vulgar disparity of the life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget.

Life can sometimes be cold and mean
But it’s up to you
You get to decide if you can overcome defeat
Your pleads may go unheard
Not necessarily something you deserved
But that’s how things go on this earthIt’s up to you
If you deal with the wicked
You will soon be a distant figure
The person…
