chocolate
really does make things
wonderful!

hugs
hand holding
family movie night
fireplace fires
dessert
candlelight
shared laughter
a piece of thought
floating by
unwatched, uninhibited
it calmly survives
till i scream inside
my restless mind
ordering the thought
to come outside
dressed in the form
of a poetic verse…
I call those pieces, “snippets”. I have no idea why.
Crackles of A Heart Once New(Knew)
you modify and mend
your horribly broken heart
but even with all the band-aids
and super glue
and rattle-cans of red
your poor broke down heart
can never be whole again
book love
I bought a book from an old friend yesterday.
As I was leaving, she told me to destroy it.
She told me to dog-ear it, to demolish it,
to underline and write notes and just love it.
“This is how a book knows that you love it”,
she told me, handing over my change.
Today, I will love my book properly.
I like to write in books, leaving tracks of my thoughts written in the margins and the white spaces at the beginning and end of chapters. I dog-ear too. I do. However, the exception to this rule is library books. Always. Those are treated with the utmost care, for they do not belong to me. They are just in my possession temporarily. ~ Janean
I am beyond repair
Don’t fix me
Let me be
Fix yourself
Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle
Plato (via irebzbreathemusic)
What is a friend? A single soul dwelling in two bodies.
Aristotle (via pavorst)
i wish the stars
would talk
more often
than they do
now as its winter
and the soul
feels
lonelier than
most seasons
its time i wish
the stars would
talk to me again
in whispers
of dim,
far away lights…
some answers
are non-existent
and most won’t know
how to tell you that
so discovered the word
‘Hope’
so that you would not
fall apart
because of
a simple truth…
